There's always plenty going on!
Junior Rallies are on again, and are now for everybody up to the age of eleven! They take place indoors at Catterick Garrison Saddle Club with instructors such as Ruth Pennell, Elaine Wormwell, Emily Abrahams and Robert Blane. Riders will have an hour's tuition in groups at either 2pm or 3pm, depending on numbers, age and ability.
Rallies are fortnightly, starting on 15th Jan 2012.

Competition Rallies for keen members aged 10 and over, alternate Wednesday evenings at either Queen Mary's School or Richmond Equestrian Centre, concentrating on Dressage or Show Jumping. All abilities are catered for, but participants should not be afraid of hard work! Please book in with Robert the Friday before, cost £8.00

Indoor Show Jumping Rallies
For all members from the very small to those hoping to be in teams next year. Groups of approx 6 riders for one and a half hour sessions with smaller ones in the early morning continuing throughout the day untill the older ones in the late afternoon

Please book in by post or email at least a week before the rally.
Dismounted Rally
At Rachel Lupton's Eventing yard at Thornton Le Beans on Sunday 19th February between 1pm and 3pm, to cover plaiting, bandaging and tack care.
Places are limited and on a first come first served basis, but priority will be give to children planning to take their C Test examinations this year. There will be another rally in the Spring if you aren't able to attend this one.
If you are interested please let me know either by email or phone before the 12th February and I will confirm your place later that week.

Easter Egg Rally
to be held at Thorp Perrow (tbc) on Tuesday 4th April. Tuition will take place during the morning, and you will need a picnic lunch, and a haynet and water for your pony. "Endurance" Easter Egg Hunts will take place after lunch, suitable for even the smallest jockeys, with rides from 4 to 16kms planned. Further details to follow.

Friday Evening Rallies will resume this year, for all members! Details are yet to be confirmed, but we hope to hold rallies on 11 May, 15 June and 10 August, at locations throughout the country.
RALLY GUIDELINES
Punctuality Please be ready to ride on time. Members who turn up late may be sent home.
Turnout Tack clean, Ponies brushed and tidy, with hoof oil on.
Riders: Clean breeches (not coloured), Shirt and tie, PC sweatshirt or riding jacket, Gloves, Hairnet, Clean boots. Can riders under the age of twelve please use a neck strap.
Arrival Discover which ride you are in. Report to your Instructor.
Parents PLEASE offer a hand moving jumps etc.
Departure Remember to thank our host for the day, the organiser, and your instructor.
No one is allowed to leave the field until all the jumps and equipment are put away. Remember the faster it is put away the sooner you can go home.
Ages Junior rallies are for those 10 yrs and under, competition rallies are for those aged 10 and over
Fees If there is a fee for the rally, please bring the correct amount and give it to your instructor before the rally starts.
