2011 was a fabulous year for BWY, and training is underway for the 2012 season!

Show Jumping and Dressage Training take place on Wednesday evenings at Richmond Equestrian Centre and Queen Mary's School; see Rallies page or contact Robert for further information.

Games Training will start on Sunday 8th Jan, indoors at Catterick Garrison Saddle Club, from 4-6pm, and fortnightly thereafter.  It is open to all members aged 14 and under on 01 Jan 2012, riding ponies 14.2hh and under.

The Tetrathlon season is starting again.  There are 2 triathlons coming up, one in Bedale on Sunday 26^th February and one in York on 18^th March.  These competitions are made up of shooting, running and swimming, (no riding until later in the spring) and are open for any member aged 8 and over.  Therefore we are running some shooting lessons in preparation for these competitions.  The first one will be this Saturday, 4^th February from 3.30pm onwards at Thornton Watlass Hall by kind permission of Liz Smith Dodsworth.  Anyone who wishes to enter the triathlon in Bedale MUST have shot at least twice before the competition.  Could all those who are interested in shooting this Saturday please call Sarah White on 01325 378066.
